About · text version
Ricco Marcelino is a developer and designer in Mumbai.
I build for the browser by hand: 3D on the web, live audio, hand and face tracking, and the backends behind them.
The portfolio
ricco.codes is two real rooms, my classroom and the college chapel, rebuilt as 3D gaussian splats and walked through by scroll.
I filmed both on a DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro and reconstructed them as gaussian splats: 770,060 splats in the classroom, 1,960,720 in the chapel. I flew the camera path by hand, setting keyframes in a 3DGS editor I took apart and rebuilt, and your scroll position is the playhead. Sound design runs on the Web Audio API. Phones load lighter rooms, because the full chapel crashed iPhone Safari at about 1 GB decoded. The email list sits on Supabase Edge Functions. I built it in 17 days over 141 commits.

Malhar Fest website
Design lead on the public site of Malhar, St. Xavier's College's festival. I designed most of what about fifteen thousand people used in a single afternoon, from the landing page through Conclave, plus much of the admin and gate-scanner interfaces the organisers ran the fest on.

Malhar Passes
Backend and admin for the fest's pass system. 15,700 passes sold in one afternoon. I built the user-management panel and worked on Supabase Edge Functions, secrets configuration and the AWS Rekognition integration.

FluteVerse
A flute you play in the browser with your hands, no hardware and no backend. MediaPipe reads your hands and face for notes and breath, the Web Audio API synthesises the sound live, and Three.js renders the instrument. A solo build in two or three days, first place at Tensor School.

Indian Space Program
A scroll-driven tribute to Vikram Sarabhai and APJ Abdul Kalam, with kinetic editorial typography. My first end-to-end site.
